HEINZMANN has set new standards in the evolution of electric drives with its latest product "CargoTwinPower". More power, higher total and payload: two wheel hub motors RN 111 with a total continuous power of 250 watts ensure maximum utilisation under the highest loads in continuous commercial urban use. Flexibility in urban traffic is ensured by a powerful drive concept including reverse gear with a torque of 230 newton metres (Nm); after all, torque and power are the decisive factors that distinguish excellent cargo bikes from conventional ones, especially when starting off and on inclines.
Higher performance also means higher demands on the components: Thanks to the strategic further development of the "CargoPower" system, "CargoTwinPower" guarantees long-lasting, unimpaired engine performance through the use of wear- and maintenance-free transmission parts.
The British company Electric Assisted Vehicles Limited (EAV) has developed an ecological cargo bike that is perfect for inner-city transport, reduces emissions to zero, avoids the congestion charges normally incurred by delivery vans and cars, and can ride on existing cycle paths in cities and towns.
The HEINZMANN Solution
In EAV's search for suppliers, the company found that they were either unable to provide the appropriate support or that their products did not have the technical capabilities to ensure performance for their application.
In HEINZMANN, EAV found a partner who could meet the required demands. HEINZMANN initially provided the electric bicycle motor RN 111 and associated components for trials, which ultimately proved successful. EAV is now continuing to grow with motors and accessories from HEINZMANN.
Thanks to online shopping, the parcel delivery sector is booming throughout Europe.
To cope with dense urban traffic and continuous congestion in cities, the US courier company UPS has adopted an innovative solution. A total of 34 electrically supported cargo bikes are gradually being introduced in major German and European cities, with more to follow.
The electric cargo bikes have an unladen weight of 135 kg and can cope with a total weight of up to 500 kg. To get all this weight moving, the HEINZMANN CargoPower system is used. At the heart of the system is a 250 W CargoPower RN111 electric motor, which can draw on 1000 Watts of power when starting.
The HEINZMANN-powered Box Movr cargo bikes produced by Rytle are one hundred percent emission free. This gradual switch to eMobility makes UPS one of the pioneers in environmentally friendly and sustainable parcel logistics.
RYTLE cargo bikes equipped with the HEINZMANN CargoTwinPower RN 111 are taking over the city logistics market. Already on the roads in numerous cities in Germany and other countries - electrically powered cargo bikes from RYTLE GmbH.
At the heart of the cargo bikes is the CargoPower drive from HEINZMANN. The overall Rytle concept, covering what is known as the last mile for suppliers and end consumers efficiently, environmentally sustainable, promptly and with minimal stress, has already won over parcel services and courier companies such as Citipost and Hermes. UPS is also trialling RYTLE cargo bikes in European cities.
