Effective 1 August 2026, HEINZMANN HOLDING has acquired a majority stake in Precise Metal Production GmbH & Co. KG (PMP). As of this date, PMP has become a member of the HEINZMANN Group.
HEINZMANN is one of the world’s leading providers of components and systems for the management and control of industrial combustion engines and turbines. With future-oriented technologies for alternative fuels, aimed at reducing emissions and improving the efficiency of combustion engines, HEINZMANN is committed to contributing to a more sustainable future. PMP specialises in precision metal machining, including CNC turning, milling, grinding and gear cutting, as well as the assembly of components and subassemblies. Combining a high level of innovation with extensive technical expertise, the company manufactures precision components in both small and large production runs for customers in the drive technology, mechanical and plant engineering, automotive and commercial vehicle industries (https://precise-metal-production.de/en).
By acquiring an 80% stake in PMP, HEINZMANN has secured additional high-precision manufacturing capacity, with a particular focus on grinding, to support the company’s planned growth over the coming years. At the same time, PMP will continue to operate independently at its Zell am Harmersbach site and serve its existing customers.
With this investment, HEINZMANN is strengthening its production capabilities at both the Zell am Harmersbach and Schönau sites. The partnership provides a solid foundation for sustainable growth and makes an important contribution to securing jobs at both locations in Germany over the long term.
