With the second generation of its pioneering electric motorbike, the KTM FREERIDE E-XC, KTM is bringing state of the art eMobility technology into the off-road segment. Like the conventionally powered KTM models, the KTM FREERIDE E-XC features the unmistakable KTM DNS - except with no emissions, noise and with low maintenance costs.
The state of the art electric motor PMS 120, a brushless disc-type motor from the HEINZMANN PMS motor series, the KTM PowerPack with increased battery capacity and exchangeable in seconds, and the innovative regeneration technology deliver previously undreamed of ranges. Three different riding modes (Economy, Enduro and Cross), which can be used to adjust the motor’s response characteristics, and A1 driving licence approval make the KTM FREERIDE E-XC the ultimate electric motorbike for beginners and experience professionals alike. The lightweight model also features stylish bodywork, modern graphics, an easy-to-use instrument panel and adjustable suspension elements.
KTM’s commitment to eMobility is part of a long-term strategy, which is being turned into a reality in the form of the KTM FREERIDE E-XC and KTM SX-E 5. Assisted by the PMS 120 from HEINZMANN the KTM FREERIDE E-XC tackles any challenges with the minimum of effort and fuss.
