Brushed SL disc-type motors are extremely flat direct current motors. They are the ideal drives for applications with limited installation space. Reliable and with quiet and smooth running, they also boast very good controllability and a high power of up to 1.1 kW. Thanks to a thin, non-ferrous disc armature, SL direct current motors have a very low mass moment of inertia and are completely free of detent torques.
